In mid-July 2002, Destination Hotels & Resorts began managing Teton Mountain Lodge, a newly constructed resort, in the heart of Jackson Hole's Teton Village. Teton Mountain Lodge guests enjoy the unique privileges of ski-in/ski-out mountainside accommodations with all the services and amenities of a luxurious resort.
Teton Mountain Lodge, with its excellent position in the village, quality of amenities and services and its convenient location at the base of the mountain, made for a unique property opportunity for Destination. As Jackson Hole's only luxury condominium-hotel, Teton Mountain Lodge has broadened the choices available to guests, and has capitalized on an untapped market niche. Destination's approach of managing at the property level allows the staff to provide unique experiences and react to the local market, while still maintaining Destination's service levels.
The developers engaged Destination Hotels & Resorts during the initial construction phases, via recommendations through their hospitality industry relationships as a result of Destination's expertise in developing and operating similar profile assets proved valuable to the pre-opening effort at the property.
